Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. The family relocated out of Buenos Aires to Victoria, London at the age of six when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy states that the move was very traumatic. Taylor Joy was unable to study English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. When she was 16 she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to be an actor.
